Secrets of Doris...

Cinderella's story, as you probably know by now, I am going to tell you is a lie. As a matter of fact, the only right information about the story you heard is that Cinderella did in fact have an evil stepmother, two evil stepsisters. Any other things you heard, like the ball, Prince Charming, her tiny mice friends are all fictional. & are all people, things, ideas, stories are all things that never happened; things that were told along with her life of lies.

It all starts back to Cinderella's childhood. She was born into the family of Lord Pumpernickel & his wife. Tragedy took its toll on Cinderella's "picture-perfect" family, & her mother fell deadly ill. After her death, Lord Pumpernickel raised Cinderella by himself for a few short years. After that time, he met Margarethe Fisher, the woman you know to be the Evil Stepmother. She had two daughters Cinderella's age; Doris & Mabel. Doris was the elder daughter, who's traits were: an unsightly mole above her lip, a masculine voice, preferred the color purple, & had a straight & unbeautifully formed figure, & preferred everything to be the same shade of purple. Mabel was the opposite. She was short & stout. She preferred the color emerald green, & had more of a figure than Doris, but had the same masculine voice. Their mother was nothing like them. She loved the world, & had a sweet, gentle voice. She had a beautiful, hourglass figure, & liked everything every different color of the rainbow. Except when Lord Pumpernickel would come home at night. To learn more about the stress & horrible times of Lord Pumpernickel, please refer to the link on the side of the page. You will find the article about this under the title "Doris's Hidden Childhood".

After the death of Lord Pumpernickel, there was no one to protect Cinderella, & Margarethe's emotions got worse & worse. She knew her genetic daughters were more important to her, so the evil Stepmother took advantage of her alone time in the house& made Cinderella do all the chores, housework, laundry, & necessities of keeping a clean, healthy mansion to live in. Cinderella was given a tiny room in a small narrow tower to sleep in. Stepmother commanded Cinderella to stay in the tower at all times when she is, either not needed, or not working. Doris & Mabel would decide to occasionally have their fun & play pranks on Cinderella. For example, after Cinderella cleaned their laundry, they threw it back at her & screamed at her that they weren't clean. When they would go tell their mother about this, she would have Cinderella clean it two more times. Doris & Mabel would just laugh at Cinderella as she walked downstairs to begin finishing her chores, staying up late into the night.

One day, when the mail arrived, Margarethe was exceptionally happy to hear that there would be a royal ball for the entire kingdom in order to celebrate the marriage of the Prince. Cinderella was promised earlier to be rewarded for her hard work. She thought that this would be the perfect gift. She approached her stepmother nervously. She asked her if she could go with her, Doris, & Mabel. The stepmother agreed to this & promised Cinderella that she could go. She secretly knew she would not allow Cinderella to go. When the time came that night to go, Stepmother was in her beautiful gown dressed & ready to leave. Doris & Mabel came down the stairs also ready in a hurry to leave & abandon Cinderella. However, Cinderella came downstairs in her usual rags & torn clothes. She announced she would not be going. Doris & Mabel jumped in joy & happiness at this sorrowful statement, & Margarethe calmed them down immediately to be polite at Cinderella. They left soon after & were on their way to a happy & fun night. Cinderella ran outside into the courtyard to cry, but instead found her Fairy Godmother outside waiting for her. She asked her what she was to do & Fairy Godmother replied, "I will give you your Happy Ever After & you will go tonight & have fun." Cinderella could not believe her eyes as before her stood a carriage, horses, coachmen, & a beautiful gown that she wore. She ran into the carriage & took off for the castle leaving the Fairy Godmother. She grew angry at this & cast a spell on Cinderella to make her night horrible & have her pay for this disrespect.

At the ball everyone was dancing & having a great time. Cinderella arrived late obviously & had a little bit of trouble getting in the castle, but sure enough she got in. As she was going around dancing, drinking, & eating, Cinderella felt a little funny in her stomach. She thought she was going to be sick. From behind her she heard an "Excuse me." & when she turned around she saw the shocked face of her stepmother. She ran back into the crowd & Stepmother followed angrily after. Cinderella kept running & seemed to see Margarethe, Doris, & Mabel's faces everywhere. She got frightened & collapsed on the floor. When she woke up the party was still gong & she ran into the prince & his new bride. She greeted them with a polite "Congratulations." & quickly walked away. The prince was concerned of her condition ran after her & grabbed her by the arm. Cinderella was at this time on the outside grand patio & when she felt the pull, without turning, she got scared & yelled & hit him. He fell onto the floor & when she looked down she noticed her gown was gone. She was back to wearing her rags & torn clothes. She moved her bare feet over to him & placed a gentle hand on his face. The Prince's bride discovered the scene & screamed for help. Cinderella knew shed be punished severely in the law at this act. Without thinking she sprinted over to the ball room & the bride of the prince followed her, but eventually lost her in the crowd. Cinderella ran into Doris & Doris held a firm grip on Cinderella's bruised arm. Cinderella roughly tried to break free of the hold & tried to escape, but Doris was too strong. She took Cinderella over to Margarethe & The family left the ball. In the carriage, Margarethe did nothing but glare angrily at Cinderella. Cinderella was too scared to make eye contact with her & instead just kept her eyes full of tears down, staring at the floor. Doris & Mabel were arguing about who had the better time at the party, & when the carriage arrived at the home, Doris & Mabel continued their argument all night until it was time for bed. Leaving Cinderella & Margarethe alone in the living room with the light supplied only by the fireplace scared Cinderella greatly. Margarethe began explaining to Cinderella how severely punished she would be & how horrible of a mistake it was going there. Cinderella was too scared & without thinking she grabbed a knife from one of the shelfs nearby & plunged it into Margarethe's stomach. Margarethe screamed in pain & Cinderella pushed her down on the ground. She gasped for breath and tried to do something but the injury seemed to paralyze her. Her limbs flailed about trying to do something for survival when her arm landed into the fire. Her sleeve caught on fire & suddenly Margarethe became a giant fireball. The fire quickly spread from Margarethe's burning body, to the carpet, to the furniture, to the knick knacks & other items, to the other rooms, to the walls. Cinderella did nothing but stand & stare at her Stepmother's immolating body. She backed up as the fire spread closer to her & ran out of the room. She exited the house, & with one final look at the burning building, she left the scene into a nearby forest where it would be too dark for anyone to see what was happening, or what she was up to. Doris & Mabel were suspected to have left the building without their mother, & moved on to have happier lives. They lost touch & eventually became sworn enemies.

Years later, Cinderella found a group of seven little dwarfs wandering the forest. She rallied them together & made them open & work a sweatshop for her. She had them make her a beautiful blue gown (the one that you were told was given to her by the Fairy Godmother) Eventually, the sweatshop fell into turmoil, & after Doris broke out the seven men (which you can read about in the article "From Riches to Rags and Back Again: Doris, a Barmaid" on the link on the side of the page) After her sweatshop died out, she fled the forest & moved to the nearest kingdom; Far Far Away. Once she arrived she ran into a woman about her age that wore a gown somewhat similar to Cinderella's, but was torn & ripped in places. Cinderella approached the woman & became quick friends with her. The woman was Sleeping Beauty, who Cinderella recognized from the updated news, newspaper, & billboards around this new kingdom. When Cinderella left her new friend, she ran into reporter Joan Rivers. The reporter told Cinderella that she could be trusted with even the darkest, most secret secrets, & Cinderella listened to her go on & on about what she did for the other beautifully dressed women of the kingdom. Cinderella knew she couldn't tell the reporter that she hurt a prince, murdered a woman twice her age, & set a house on fire. She lied & told of how she was dangerously & badly treated at her home. How the Stepmother made her do all the chores & house work. She told her how she wanted to go the prince's ball, because he was looking for a new wife. She told how she was forbidden to go, but she managed to, until her two evil stepsisters destroyed her gown that her animal friends made for her. She went on & on about how Fairy Godmother came to her aid & made her a beautiful gown, a carriage, horses, & coachmen, out of a pumpkin, field mice, & the house dog. She explained how she had a magical night & avoided looking at her relatives revealing her secret. & how when it was midnight, Cinderella left the castle in a hurry, while all the magical things turned back to normal. She told how the next day, her glass slipper was found in the castle & the Prince tried it on every woman in the kingdom. She gave away that her stepmother locked her in her room, but she managed to get out, try the sipper on, & marry the prince. When the reporter asked where the prince was Cinderella replied that he was back at the kingdom ruling it. When the reporter sold the story to the press Cinderella was treated with a mansion, all needed necessities for her life, & was given more fame than she could ever have dreamed. All because of a lie. Cinderella may regret that, but whether or not, the Fairy Godmother got hr revenge for the way she was treated, & Cinderella is a clean freak, obsessed with having everything exceptionally clean. The tiniest speck of dust, will make Cinderella go paranoid to the point where shell go into a stage of mind loss & Cinderella will scrub the dust off until she cam see her reflection through the object.

Not the story you thought you knew? Clearly. Cinderella lied just like the others & her mansion, the mansion that could belong to a person much more deserving of it than her, resides spotless. Her "Happily Ever After" is more of a "Cleaner, Happily Ever After, Life of Lies"...

This has been a Secret of Doris...keep checking back for more...
