Secrets of Doris...

Most people know the Fairy Tale about the beautiful princess that had a spell cast upon her that on her sixteenth birthday, shed prick her finger on the needle of a spinning wheel, and fall into an eternal sleep only awoken by true love's kiss. But what you don't know is that everything you heard about this story is a lie. It's time for you to know the truth about this sleeping, beautiful girl, & what ever happened to her Prince Charming, if there even was one, & all of the friend's she encountered.

Princess Aurora was born to King and Queen of a land that has been weathered down, and destroyed over time. The current whereabouts of the kingdom are unknown. The kingdom was described to you, most likely as a happy place, where everybody got along & celebrated the birth of Princess Aurora as a happy occasion & there was peace, prosperity, & joy all over the world. Right? This is actually NOT what happened at all. Aurora was born to King & Queen just after they took the Throne and were sworn into their terms. The birth of the baby brought the same thought to all the citizens & townspeople of the kingdom. They all thought "Oh here we go. A baby's born, so now were all gonna have to go out, buy gifts, present them, & see the baby for all of five seconds, and waste the day to do so." This obviously was not the best reaction to a birth, and a royal birth at that. Doris, having fled a palace already with an evil queen, sought refuge at the palace of King Stephan and his wife. When the baby was born, Doris at the time was the Prime Minister, after getting on the King & Queen's good side. As the citizens poured into the castle to present their gifts, thunder was heard from outside, & lightning cracked. Red-orange smoke erupted in from the middle of the enormous throne room, and as you were told, the evil Maleficent showed up. Well this is another lie. Maleficent was a fictional character that never really existed. The evil villain in this fairy tale was the Evil Queen from Snow White's story. The Queen entered the room in anger & fury in search of Snow White. She glared at the King & Queen. In fright, the Queen ran to the rescue of baby Aurora. The Evil Queen examined the room & judged all of the people present. She looked at the baby in the Queen's arms. She was angry at the fact that this newborn baby was so beautiful & precious. With the wave of her finger, the Evil Queen cast a spell upon the baby that when she comes of the age of a woman, she will be called to the highest room of the tallest tower of the castle, and die a tragic, sudden death. Within seconds, the Evil Queen finished the spell and vanished to continue her search for Snow White. The Queen's eyes filled with tears as she clutched the baby tighter in her arms. King Stephan wrapped his arms around his wife's and the entire room fell silent.
Days later, King Stephan sought to find the best guardians for his growing baby girl. He hired knights to fight and prove worthiness, and knight after knight was unsuccessful in pleasing the king. Suddenly, three pleasant fairies came to visit the king one day. They proved worthy to keep Aurora safe, and the king was exceptionally pleased.
The king, queen, & three fairies watched for years as Aurora grew up into a fine young woman. They kept an unusual close eye on her now more than ever as she was closer & closer to becoming a woman. A few times when Aurora would walk in the direction of the tallest tower, and a group of people would surround her, leading her back to her previous location, away from the tower. Years and years passed again, and when sixteen, Aurora snuck up to the tallest tower. She climbed the stairs higher & higher to the dark, fateful room. The wet, stone steps echoed the sound of her high-heeled shoes. Her mother passed by the entrance to the corridor leading to the staircase Aurora was climbing. The Queen caught the sound with her ear & walked over to see what it was. It wasn't often someone went up to that tower. Particularly because Aurora had grown so old, caution was everywhere & everyone was scared of something happening. The Queen began to walk up the steps & tried to spot anyone. She saw the blue gown, & blond hair of her daughter Aurora. She dropped the trays that were held n her hand and sprinted up the steps to her daughters aid. When she caught up to her daughter, she approached her & held her close. She convinced her that theres nothing up there & that she should walk back down immediately. After a few days of a lot of watching, Aurora was not tempted any longer to go up to the tower. However, her father was exceptionally scared now that she was almost seventeen. He found the three fairies, Flora, Fauna, & Merryweather, & had them take Aurora to a cottage in the forest. For the safety of Aurora, they began to call her Sleeping Beauty after her excessive drowsiness, & random sleeping spurs. The four of them went there and stayed for quite some time. One day, while trying to make a cake for Sleeping Beauty's eighteenth birthday, the three fairies heard a knock at the door. Seven little men appeared & wondered why there were women in their home. The seven dwarves rushed the fairies & Sleeping Beauty out of the house for good. While sleeping one night in the forest, Sleeping Beauty was woken up in some sort of a trans. She rose from the ground, & began to walk in the direction of the visible castle of her parents. During her walk, she heard cracks & snaps of branches & twigs, & at first thought nothing of it until the sounds seemed to be moving with her. She turned her head in the direction of the shrubs & a figure appeared & emerged in front of Sleeping Beauty. It was Doris. Doris was on her way to her job back at the Poison Apple, a bar in Far Far Away. She wanted to know why Sleeping Beauty was wandering the forest so late at night. Sleeping Beauty did not respond & instead kept walking to the castle. Doris left the scene unheard of. When the tine came that Sleeping Beauty arrived at the immense castle, her three fairy guardians were still asleep in the forest. When they woke up they were frantically in search for th princess & decided that since it was her eighteenth birthday, maybe, just maybe, she was headed to the castle. They made their way, flying at the speed of light (well, maybe not that fast, but you get the idea..). However they were too late. They also knew this. However, Merryweather, the smallest fairy had an idea. She closed her eyes tightly, & began to think of happy thoughts. She began to mumble words in her head. She completely knew what she was saying, however, Flora & Fauna were confused. All they heard were word like "protect, year, sleep, death, prevent...". They had no idea what their companion was getting at, but whatever she did, Merryweather was successful at it.
Up in the Tower, Sleeping Beauty was climbing the damp, slippy steps. Still in the trans, she had no idea what she was doing. Like deja vu, her mother heard the clicking of her heels going up the steps. The Queen was fully aware of her daughters age, & realizing that now might be the time when, as the Evil Queen predicted, she would tragically die. This realization made her run up the steps to her daughter's aid more quickly. But she was still too late. She arrived at the top of the steps only to find her beloved daughter Aurora, out cold, on the floor. She burst into tears as her husband, King Stephan, hurried to her. She held Sleeping Beauty in her arms, & the king began to cry as well. They placed their daughter in her old bedroom with the grand canapé bed, and large look out balcony. He examined the kingdom from the balcony in search of the three fairy protectors. His anger for the rose & thought, and contemplated on why he did not just choose the best knight to watch Aurora.
A year passed, and day after day the parents of the sleeping beauty checked on her, and visited her bedside often. On the one-year anniversary of the incident, a noise was heard from her room. The king & queen sprang up to the room & could not believe their eyes. Their daughter, Aurora, was sitting up in the bed, awake. Although she would be cursed by randomly falling into small sleeping spurs, she was still alive. & thats all that mattered to her, her parents, & the thankful fairies. The three fairies entered the room, followed by the king & queen. The king glared at the three of them & told them that they would pay for not protecting his daughter. He circled the room, grabbed an ax from one of the suites of armor beside the old, wooden door, and bolted straight to Flora. Within seconds, the mighty ax was plunged into her stomach, killing her. King Stephan turned his head looking for the other fairies. He spotted Fauna, and in seconds, the ax, still dripping Flora's blood, was driven into her back like a pitchfork. His face, scarlet red with anger, veins pulsing out of his neck, turned in examination for Merryweather. He spotted her, and almost like a dagger, he threw the ax at her neck, impaling her to the ground. She pleaded to the Queen & to Sleeping Beauty, who through all this ruckus, still managed to stay in the bed, to save the dying fairy. She told them the story of how in the forest, she casted a spell upon Sleeping Beauty that she would not die in the tower. She would only fall into a deep sleep, until she was a year older than the age she was when she came into the tower. Merryweather told the family how she saved Sleeping Beauty & did not deserve this. But it was too late. As the poor fairy said her last words, she fell into eternal slumber. Sleeping Beauty could do nothing now, but cry in her mother's arms. But she did not want to resort to doing that. She cursed & swore at her evil parents & ran out of the room crying. She never wanted to speak to her parents ever again.
Sleeping Beauty circled the land for days until she came upon another kingdom. She red the sign at the big, golden gates that read "Far Far Away" in shiny, silver letters. She contemplated her memories as to where she heard that name before. It was Doris who had told her that's where she traveled to work at the Poison Apple. She thought about going to see Doris there, but then she remembered that that was a year ago, and Doris may not be working there anymore. Sleeping Beauty was left with no choice but to go into the kingdom in search of a place to call home. As she wandered through the streets for quite some time, she noticed stores that were familiar to her like "Versachery", "Farbuck's Coffe", & "Ye Old Burger King". She also noticed some of the familiar faces n billboards such as the Fairy Godmother, & recently famous, Snow White. While looking at some citizens in flashy & complex clothes, she ran into outrageous reporter, Joan Rivers. The reporter noticed her torn, and dirty gown, & came to her for information about what happened to her. Sleeping Beauty knew it would be too much embarrassment for her, her family, and her former kingdom, to tell the reporter the truth, so she decided to make up her fantasy story. She told her about a handsome prince that rescued her by a simple true love's kiss. She told her how her fairy protectors were right now being honored at their good deed in protecting her, and how the kingdom would live forever in peace.
The story of Sleeping Beauty you thought you knew, now is figured out, and the truth is told. Sleeping Beauty, like Snow White, sold her story to reporter Joan Rivers & was also made a historical figure for everyone to wish they were. Her former kingdom eventually crumbled & fell into turmoil. All structures were destroyed, people fell into famine, poverty, & revolted against the rulers. Sleeping Beauty's parents fled the kingdom into exile & were never found. The kingdom's whereabouts were never discovered, & Sleeping Beauty refused multiple times to release the location of the kingdom. Sleeping Beauty was honored with a mansion to her liking, and was given all necessities she would need for the rest of her life. Cursed with her sleeping spurs, & horrible memories, she resides in Far Far Away with the rest of the princesses in their fabulous mansions & homes built on greed & jealousy of their fantasy lives & their "Happily Ever Afters". The story you thought you knew is nothing like the facts. The story you thought you knew is in fact the image & dreams of Sleeping Beauty's "happy life" & her "Happily Ever After". The true story that you should have known is nothing like Sleeping Beauty's fantasy. Now that you know the true facts & details, I hope you know that Sleeping Beauty's "Happily Ever After" is really a "Happily Never Happened"...
